One is the coolmenu mod. One is the dhtml menu mod. They are completely different.

Default Re: cool menu vs dhtml menu

i have selected cool menu for my site at planet-moto.co.uk/catalog

so why doesn't mine look like this one that i found in the oscommerce contributions as an example of the cool menu script.

GeraeteLand.de :: STIHL Shop :: Startseite » Katalog

thanks

Default Re: cool menu vs dhtml menu

Because you are using a custom template that creates its own categories box. If you switch your site to one of the default templates to test, you will see the coolmenu.

You will need to change your template to use the conditionals that call the cool menu. You can look at the main_page.tpl.php in the fallback template to find the coolmenu code.
