Does anyone have a good merchant processor they would recommend?

I shut down my business a couple of years ago because of my processor. My company grew too fast and they put a "security hold" on my account. I had $140,000 in inventory in transit to customers and then no dollars flowing in for my CGS. By the time I got a factor to finance the CC receivable, the chargeback where rolling in. I'm just now recovering financially.

Has anyone had to setup multiple processors for multiple sites? What processor allows you to do it? I have run numerous sites, same products pretty much.

Also, I am in an industry with large average purchases and multiple deliverable sources. Processors seem leery of these kinds of transactions.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

The way normal merchant accounts work, if you do above a certain volume, they automatically suspend your account.

You will need to pre-arrange a high volume account with your merchant bank. The issue is the amount of risk they are willing to assume. Once you hit a certain threshold, their risk exposure outweighs the potential profit and they shut you down. I think all merchant accounts are capped, so I don't think you will find a merchant willing to work with you, going through normal retail channels.
