Default I'm confused about Pictures & Thumbnails

Ok, maybe I'm missing something. I filled out the form for adding an item, and selected an image to upload, and got the item posted, however I was expecting when viewing the item in the store i could click on the thumbnail and the image would display at its full size.

I can right click on the image and select display image and it does enlarge.. but something isnt right.

You need to configure the image display...

In your admin go to :

Configuration >> Dynamic Mopics

and change this:

Big Images Directory: images_big/

to this

Big Images Directory:

(that is right, just delete the images_big/ part.)

Depending on your server you may also need to make sure that your .jpg is in small letters... If I upload images with JPG then the pic does not open.
Cheers

Yes, linux unlike windows is case sensitive. You need to specify upper case extensions in the dynamic mopics admin.

If you use linux regularly, you already know this. If you just started with linux, welcome to a better world and take note of the letter case rule. It applies to everything.

You should be able to add an upper case extension to the dynamic mopics extensions and then it should recognize uppercase extensions.

So you add something like this to the mopics admin

Thumbnail Image Types JPG, jpg, gif, jpeg, tiff, png, bmp
