| In the RC3 release, does the create order module allow an admin to create an order and submit it to a payment gateway for credit card processing? In RC2, it did not. It allowed an admin to create an order in oscmax, but then you had to manually process the order a second time through authorize.net, or another payment gateway... A hassle and prone to error. If RC3 does not do this, is anyone interested in giving me a quote on building this functionality? Thx, C |

| No RC3 does not do this because the Create Order contribution does not do this. If the makers of the Create Order contribution add this function, then it will also be added to osCMax.

| I am also looking for something to do this, for secpay, paypal and cheque payments. Anyone think it can be done easly or don't hold my breath? I have a client who wants to process phone orders and be able to go straight to the payment gateway whilst on the phone and then for the order to be updated after the transaction. I'm looking around anyway, I shall let you know if I find anything that will do this. |

| daffodil, ok, thanks, please post if you find something. I am looking to use authorize.net for payments. I have contacted the original author about adding this functionalty, will let you know if i get anything. msasek, The "create order" module has gotten a lot of updates in the last few months on oscommerce.com contributions. See here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/...rch,edit+order Do you incorporate these changes into your releases? Or do you have to update your version separately form oscommerce versions? Thx, C |

| When we are updating versions of mods, yes we do update them the to the most current at the time of release... We do not update contributions each time an update is added at osCommerce.com, and if the change is minor we leave it up to the end user to update the mod. There simply are too many mods in osCMax to constantly update them whenever someone makes a minor change to one of them. We go for the major mod roll-up releases and major feature additions or security patches. Since the mods are already installed, if you want to add the new updates, it is usually pretty easy to do. A simple file comparison tool will allow you to locate the changed code quickly and update it with minimal effort. Regardingthe updated Edit Orders mod, even the most current still does not do order processing.

| Let me know if you find out what it cost for that mod to process the orders. It would be a big help. It takes to long for me to process large orders then go to Auth.net and charge the card. I am up for instant processing too. |

| If you want to do this there is a SIMPLE mod you can do and works with ALL payment moduals that you have install/use. MASTER PASSWORD. osCommerce: Contributions 3 to choose from.... They all work on the fact that you act LIKE the customer using THEIR account (or create one on there behalf) on the catalog side - not the admin side as PAYMENT GATEWAYS are NOT available in the ADMIN side. |

| That is a sweet solution JPF... I would have never realized it! Excellent method for anyone that needs to manually enter in orders for customers and get CC# realtime processing.
