Future of OSCMAX

As MS3 seems to be getting closer on completion I am little concerned as where oscmax will be on the new release of Oscommerce MS3, also I have had to move hosts as
The old host I was on updated to fedora core 5 using PHP 5 and MYSQL 5 can any body
Tell me the plans on the future of OSCMAX.

osCMax will of course be behind the development of osCommerce. When MS3 is ready (it has been a loooooong time coming and people have been saying that it is getting closer to completion for a couple years now...) we will of course update the next version of osCMax to the MS3 core... Since osCMax is dependent on mods that others make and update, they will be added as they become available. osCMax 2.0 will remain on the MS2 code base and osCMax 3.0 will be based on the MS3 code base... Hope this clarifies things.

There is no need to move servers if using PHP5 and mysql5. I have osCMax running fine on that configuration.

Hi Michael,

I have can not seen to get oscmax running on fc5 or fc6 is there any code changes i need to make as this will make me happy chappy I have test server running FC6 which i will be using as from the end of the year.
