| Hi All, I am adding over 700 new products to my shop and I am using a Tab Delimited file to do it, in order to save time. For my images, I am using .gif files for the thumb nails and jpeg for the popup images. I know that I most use "v_products_image" for the thumb nails but my question is, what heading do I use for the popup image? I try using "v_products_image_lrg" but that didn't work. Does anyone know what the correct heading is for the popup images? Also I would like to setup some of my products to show the normal retail price and our price, I know that I can go into the admin and set them up by listing them under "specials" but I would like to do it in the tab delimited file also if possible because of the number of products. If it is possible does anyone know what the heading for the special price should be? Thanks everyone. |

| Ok I fix the second question that I had above by upgrading my Easy Populate to Easy Populater2.8 and now I can add all my special prices, but I still can not add my popup jpeg files using a Tab Delimited file. I try to create and download a Tab Delimited file from my shop, to use as a templete, but I have over a 1000 products and before the file can be created I get a "page can not be display" error message. Any help would be appreciated guys. Thanks |

| There is no need to do this, as all you need to do is upload the large images via ftp. There is no database entry for them, so no need to add to easypopulate, as dynamic mopics 'dynamically' picks them up after you just ftp them.

| Hi Micheal, Thanks for your reply. This is what I have, I have all my thumbnails as gif file in a folder name after the type of items in that catagory such as Christmas_Decor and than I have all my large pic as jpeg files and I have them in the images_big folder in this format "name_big.jpg". When I go to my website I can see all my new thumbnail just find but when I click on any of the new thumbnails to see the enlarge image all I get is the thumbnail gif in the popup window unless I go into the admin and manually enter the link for the larger images. What I would like to know is it possible to add this link in my tab delimiter file in order to save some time, because of the large number of new products that I am adding? Because without my adding them manually I can't get the large image to show on the popup window. Thanks bro |
