| I sell custom-printed t-shirts and after looking at several other carts, I decided to go with oscMAX because it had pricing by attributes included in it. The color choices for my shirts vary with size and I had hoped to set up dropdowns that would have color options that would change with the size chosen...as in the following website example: http://www.foxracing.ca/shop.php?pro...003&page=1 I've spent the better part of the last 24 hrs trying to figure out how to set this up in the Products/Attributes area. I've been all over this forum as well as OSC's forum looking for answers. I found a thread on this forum describing what the Products/Attributes area SHOULD look like and mine doesn't look like it is described in the post. I'm having the same problems that the poster Beth is having (not being able to see/get to the Products Options as shown in the screenshot): http://oscdox.com/index.php?name=PNp...xt+input+field Before I go to all the trouble of doing a complete reinstall, could someone please tell me which files might be damaged so I could try uploading/writing over them? I already tried uploading over my products_attributes.php, thinking that might be the problem, but it didn't change anything. Also, is it even possible to accomplish what I'm trying to do by pricing attributes and controlling whether they are displayed with inventory/stock quantity settings? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jan |

| This feature (text input boxes) is not in osCMax 2.0, only in older versions of osCMax (in the case of the above post, v 1.7) that did not have QT Pro and had option type feature installed. As for prices appearing next to the attributes, it is quite simple. Create the attribute, then put a + in the prefix box and type in the dollar amount you want it to be priced at in the 'value price' box. Having the color of the image updated when they change the color selected would require custom coding to add that feature (probably a little javascript). I am not entirely sure what the exact issue you are having is though. Is it the color not changing? The prices not showing? Or unable to display a text input box?

| Hi, Michael. Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry...I realize now that I wasn't very clear. I was very tired & frustrated when I posted. I wasn't trying to add text input boxes. I was trying to set inventory according to attribute options and couldn't find any documentation on it. When doing a forum search on how do set it up, I ran across the post that I cited. In that post, you showed a screenshot of the Product Options. The poster (Beth) was not able to access that screen and neither was I. That's why I used that post as an example. I thought maybe it was in that screen where inventory for product options (size, color, etc) was added. Any suggestions on getting the java script code? Thanks, Jan |
