Default Little help locating feature in admin please

    Hi All,

A little help would be great.......

At the bottom right area of the page there is an information box that has links to:

    Shipping & Returns
    Privacy Notice
    Conditions of Use

When you click on say...... "Shipping & Returns" Here is what I see " Put here your Shipping & Returns information."

    Same for the other two.

But I can not find in admin where to put in the text that I want there.

Would someone please tell me where this area is at? I simply just must have overlooked it.

    Thank you,
    John

    In Admin Configuration:

    WYSIWYG Editor

Define MainPage use WYSIWYG HTMLAREA? (edit) (enable) (Update)

    Then in Admin Catalog:

Select your paget that you want to edit. You sometimes have to drop the HTML WYSIWYG editor with the little drop down arrow. Usually it is already dropped and ready for edit.

I cannot find where to do that. I found the "define Mainpage" but not the other pages.

Maybe I do not have the same version. If you click below you will see what I have.

    Thanks,

    Hi John

It looks like you are using osCMax 1.7 which does not have the feature that Cisco talks you through. (Therefore - wrong forum.)
...but, if I remember correctly, here's what you need to do:

First of all, you need to identify the correct files to modify. If English is your language of choice, you'll find the files you need here (Using shipping as an example.):
    catalog/includes/languages/english/shipping.php
Open the files in a text editor, or web editor.
Locate the default text you want to change.
Make your changes, then upload by FTP to the same location on your server.
Note, this will overwrite the previous version, so it's best to make a back-up copy, in case you need to start over again.
You can also use HTML to format the text, add images/links etc. if you wish.

There is another way to edit these files directly online, from within Admin/Tools/File Manager. Navigate to the files, using the same file path as above. However, the files need to be 'writeable' on the server and, depending upon your ability or confidence, is not quite as versatile as using a web editor.

    Good luck.
