Cant add mo Pic??

I am trying to show more than one image for product, but when I put a test.jpg in the big_images folder, and then add another like test_1.jpg, it doens show up in the "more pictures for this product" area for that product. Does this have to be turned on somehow? I shows the 'click to enlarge' but doenst seem to work for adding additional images...
Anyone else experiencing this or am I missing something.

If you would like to use the thumbs directory to keep the base image you cannot set the path via the web admin. This is a bug as noted in my bug report. You need to use Xshop, or Easy Populate.

I'm not normally a guy who says "add this!", but I strongly recomend the imagemagic contrib.

1) it works with mopics
2) it makes thumbnails on the fly
3) it caches the thumbnails
4) caching the thumbnails speeds up your customers response time
5) creating the thumbnails from the large images to whatever width or height you set on the fly allows you to play with the width/heights to fine tune the store without spending hours uploading and dicking with photoshop
6) it send the information telling the users machine to cache images locally on their box (increasing the speed of your sites loading time and reducing your bandwidth)
7) it plays well with oscMAX
it takes about 20 minutes to do a complete install

and an optional
9) if you want you can set it up to watermark with either an image or text the large graphics, which reduces image theft.

So, without much to say about the mod that is negative, I would recomend it highly for any site (it reduces the need to worry about anything but /images/big_images and makes mopics so much "smarter").

Any "contributions" sucessfully convered to OSCMAX - zip up just the changed files and "attach" it to a message on this fourm (or as a PM to myself or Micheal - msasek) and we can post them into the DOWNLOADS section for everyone to enjoy!

I would agree that it should be here if there was anything that I needed to do to the contrib that wasn't clearly stated in the install, but there wasn't.

It installs clean from the OSC contribs into oscMAX. No need to duplicate the download here as the re is NO CONVERSION required. PS: The documentation was EXCELLENT as well. In fact, I will be using their documentation style on all future contribs I make, it was that good.

Speaking of contribs, I hope to upload the first oscMAX "contrib" this week. Look for "BIA Loyalty Discount". This will be modification and some new functionality to the Loyalty Discount mod that comes in oscMAX.

I added the the contribution and now all my picutes dont show? When I turn the master on/off switch off, they come back. Do I need to copy all my images to the thumbs?

after adding this contribution I still cant figure out where to put my images folder, or where I need to change the location of it, because it doesnt find any of my images... Any one know what I might be doing wrong or how to fix this problem??
Also when I turn this contribution off, it disables control via the admin for "must show images", I have it on false, but it still showing unavailable pictures for catagories with this contribution turned off, if I turn it on, I dont have any pictures, but it doenst show catagory pictures,,, HELP!!!

no, there is no need to change location. Did you do it with watermarks off? I found that watermarks were a bit of a problem (I had .gif images and don't have the right versions of the software to rewrite the images with watermarks).

I also am having problems getting the "click here..." link for the larger pics to appear - they are loaded in the images/images_big folder, with the correct imagebase name given in admin. The main thumbs are displayed in my store, but none of the extra thumbs nor the pop up of the main thumb. I have the directory path in admin turned to False, but have tried it with it turned on to True and have also tried loading the thumbs into the main images directory and numbering as suggested above by Groggory as well... I'm getting the main thumb but nothing else. What am I missing?
