Dynamic MoPics Question: Main Thumbnail in Thumbnail Img Dir

I would like to keep my main thumbnail in the thumbnail 'thumbs' directory. I enabled it in Dynamic mopics but can't get it to work. I go to the admin, type in the name of the image, but its a no-go for the product.

What is the correct process to get this to work?

I've been trying everything and I can't get this to work.

If all else fails I'll just set this to disable, and put the main image thumbnail in the images directory, but it would make my file maintenance a lot easier if I could set this to true.

Does anyone know how to make this work?

haha, I wrote that guide! :-p

But this is a bit different from the guides. I am trying to get the option "Main Thumbnail In "Thumbnail Images Directory": true

Ever guide I've read including the manual for MoPics assumes you are going to set this to false. I am trying to get it work setting it to true. But from everything I can tell, the true option does not work. I wonder if this is a break in the code. I personally think it is, maybe I should put it on bugtrack.
