Product attributes Stock runtime error

I just discovered oscmax and seems like it has the features I'm looking for so I though I would give it a try.

Env: Windows Server 2003, IIS 6.0, PHP Version 4.4.1, MySQL Server 4.1

I installed oscmax, added a couple of categories, added a product and gave it a size attribute with 'Track Stock' turned on. Added a couple of values (Large, Medium, and Small) and assigned them a stock numbers to them.

I go to that product in the catalog and when I select a different size I get a runtime error (I have script debugging enabled in IE).

it appears "onchange=stkmsg(this.form)" is invalid because stkmsg is not defined on the page.

Of course if you don't have script debugging turned on you will not get the popup. Also in Mozilla if you have the javascript console up you will see the same error.

Any ideas? I'm an asp.net web developer. PHP is new to me.
