I am not angry, no apology needed. I think either I don't understand what you are trying to do, or you don't understand what I am explaining, or a little of both.

If you have found a solution that works for you, that is all you need. The solution that I provided does exactly what you are asking for though (as far as I understand). But, if you cannot get it to work, then it does you no good at all. Unfortunately I cannot think of another way of explaining it. Maybe someone smarter than me can explain it in a way that makes sense to you...

Micheal, thanks for the reply. I never know when I've reached the point of no return with experts such as yourself, so I assumed when you used upper case that I'd angered you. I just purchased the book called php for the world wide web by larry ulman, so hopefully I can understand everything a little better. I will keep trying your suggestions when I can so I can learn.

Not sure if I should ask this question here or post somewhere else, but when I look at the number of posts in some of catagories in this forum there is over 800 or so and yet when I try to look over all of them I only get 15 pages per category. I have tried to see if there is a change I can make in my profile, but didn't see it anywhere. How do I gain access to all the posts on this forum?

Micheal, thanks again. Should of figured that one out myself. Just wanted to make sure I've read all the posts as sometimes when I do a search it tells me that there is 20 posts, but I only get to see 15 on one page and when I go to the second page there is nothing. That should do it for this thread I guess, I'll keep plugging away and post again if I need help.

For example: a classic three inch tomic plug number 115 costs 8.50, a multi three inch tomic plug number 115 costs 9.50, a classic four inch tomic plug number 115 costs 8.75 and a multi four inch tomic plug number 115 costs 9.75, etc. I've tried to make this work using the examples you gave me, but cannot seem to make it work. Is there another way?
So is it like this...

Three Inch Plug Num 115
--Classic $8.50
--Multi $9.50
Four Inch Plug Num 115
--Classic $8.75
--Multi $9.75

That seems pretty simple if you organize it like that. You make a simple product, and let them pick the specifics. I don't know the business you're in, so maybe this won't work. But then again, maybe you just needed another brain to pick at your problem.

Good luck.
