Thumbnail sizes to use?

Hi,

Had a quick look over the Pix documentation but couldn't see a suggested size for the thumbnail pictures.

Does anyone know of a generally acceptable set of dimensions. We had a designer produce an osCommerce shop before and they changed the sizes for the thumbnails but we have since lost this shop due to the designer going under and leaving us in the lurch.

Am setting up a new site myself and wondered if there were any generally recommended sizes for the tumbnails.

There is no standard. It depends on what you want... I have seen thumbs of all sizes. It depends on what you are selling and what the design of your site is... Generally they should be big enough to generate interest in the product and small enough to load quickly. That leaves a huge range of possibilities.
