USPS Shipping not working in new OSCMAX RC2

I've been having the same problems in testing a client's site. If you're using the test server, the USPS docs seem to indicate that it only accepts certain specific canned requests. For example, the test requests for domestic rates are listed at:

As I modified my test order to match their parameters, my returned error messages kept changing to match whatever was the first mismatched value. I'd suspect there wouldn't be any issues once you went live (YMMV) as long as you can get back a response from the USPS servers.

I am ok now - I got the USPS account switched from test to production and that seemed to fix it.

We are getting the same problem, the Post Office says we need to add their ID # in webtools, where ever THAT is. Its a code or password into production, but the module in admin only takes the USPS account user/pass. I will attempt to find out what it is.

I've put in my web tools ID (no password required). I noticed in the email I received from USPS that they give two links. Do I need to do something with those? Or do I just need to use the user id? I get an error message when I just put the ID in on my store front.

Is there a specific tutorial somewhere to set up shipping?
