    Default mopics /thumbs path problems

I am having a problem with the mopics path on my http://diecast-world.com site.

    In mopics I have:
Main Thumbnail In "Thumbnail Images Directory" set to true.
    Thumbnail Images Directory: /thumbs

First I upload the photos of the product I wish to add for example, diecast-car.jpg - The large into images_big, the thumb into thumbs.

Then I add the product with the thumbs/diecast-car.jpg in the image name field.

Then I preview, the thumb does not show on the preview, but I go ahead and post. I go back to the product I just added and the "thumbs/" is missing and just the diecast-car.jpg is listed.

So I go to phpmyAdmin and edit the field manually to show thumbs/diecast-car.jpg and everything works.

Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong? I really do not want to put the thumbs in the main image directory.

When you do this - Do you actually type the name next to the browse button or do you press the browse button and click the correct image?

Because just entering the name wont work, you need to browse for the thumbnail, all other pictures you can upload through FTP as you like.

That just uploads the thumbnail to the images directory. I want to use the thumbs directory. I followed the dynamic mopics instructions.

What if you change the define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/'); in the configuration.php .. Dont know if it will screw things up .. But my guess is that the location of uploaded images will be based on that configuration setting.

I think it will be easiest to add an "image filename" field to the add new product/edit product page.
