USPS shipping module not working, doesnt show up before paym

Hi, the USPS shipping module is not showing, when I removed the flat rate that was standard, it no just goes straight to the payment page, nothing about shipping, I reinstalled the USPS module and still nothing, please help,

Just tried to install the per item shipping mod, and it does the same thing, it never goes to the shipping page..nor does it add it to the total, seems to just be skipping the checkout_shipping page. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Product weight must not be zero, or it completely skips shipping, as zero weight is reserved for downloads and gift vouchers...

I got it to show, but it says;
An error occured with the USPS shipping calculations.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner.
I have my password and user id in proper, so I am at a lost of what to do, please help.

Check your zip code I had the same question the other day an this is what it was. Wrong Zip Code.

In your customer zp code and edit.

Also check in the configuration set-up for your store:
Configuration - Shipping/Packaging

I get the same error, and I have setup the store information with the zipcode I ship from, and enter the API account information. Configure the weight of the item and I still get the same error. I enter a valid street address on the site and still get the error.

I never got it to work either and I think those damn ups prices are scaring people.

A little off topic but try getting an account with FedEx. They are cheaper than UPS, at least they are for me. Better web site too. Also, have you contacted USPS to make sure you are on their production server? Now days you DONT need a password for the production server, leave it BLANK.
