Request for NEW features for the NEXT version of osCMax !!!

We want to hear what you want in the next version of osCMax!

Even if you don't have a suggestion - feal free to answer the poll!

Features, options, added fuctions, more shipping, payments!
What ever it is ... ask!

Please keep in mind:
-See what is already in osCMax 2.0 and suggest thing that not included.
-No suggestions that are the same or provide simular function - unless there is a feature missing (please note the exact feature).
-Register_globals has to be ON (this would require a total re-write of all mods and core programs).
-Very limited use shipping/payment methods (local or country specific) are not normally added - unless there is a wider/global use (these are not hard to add anyway).
-Language are acceptable - However we will can not translate ourselves. Any person who make a suggestion to please translate/create there own and UPLOAD it to us and we will include it - but please include a FULL set of files - including all language specific: files, images, buttons (even if some is not translated - use english as a template).
-All suggestion and submitted files must be GNU-General Public Licence. Sorry no code must rely on a commercial version/licence.
-Must be able to run on MOST servers - Lunix, Windows, Unix, Mac etc... (no "Runs on XXXXX type of Servers Only")

-PLEASE list the contribution's FULL NAME and/or NUMBER and/or URL.

And most of all:
-We need help ourselves - if you added a contribution into MAX that is not already there - PLEASE zip up only the CHANGED files and upload it to the board as a message file attachment!

Also tell us why is would be a great addition to MAX!

This is a little contribution to allow you to dynamically turn on and off features and contributions!

my wholesale customers buy 20-50 different products and usually multiple quantities of each. can you add "Add Mulitple Products" #1129 to the next release? It puts a QTY box next to the product and has just one buy now button at the bottom of the page that would update all of the quantities at once. the contrib for this is called Add Multiple Products (#1129). just know that the read me file has an error at the bottom:

The other module I'd like to see is Quickly Update Product Stock #558. It is a form that will let you update model, weight, price, and stock quantity of all the products in a category.

The last thing i'd like to see is something that I haven't found a contrib for. my retail customers want to see the products listed in columns with pictures while my wholesale customers need a form where the products are listed in rows without pictures. can the All Products page be an option to the regular category style? the All Products page would have to have the quantity boxes i mentioned above.

First of all, let me say how grateful I am to the people who have made osCMax such a fantastic system. I am indebted to the php wizards for making it all work. Unfortunately, I don't have the skill or knowledge to help with that side of things, but I'd be happy to contribute by helping to correct any textual errors - spelling, grammar, structure etc.
These crop up throughout osc and in contribs, often in areas the store owner may never see, but because they are what our customers see can tend to take the professional edge off even the best sites.

To keep this post from becoming too long, I've only briefly listed some other suggestions for osCMax improvement below. I've not yet fully tested osCMax v2.0, so my apologies if anything's already included. If you're interested in any of these contribs, let me know and I'll check what I've used previously - although by now they've probably been updated.

Here goes...

Credit Card Payment with CVV and Start Date and Issue Number.

Customer Order Number to show in email Subject.

In Admin, ensure top item in any category menu automatically becomes selected by default. Some currently don't do this.

Optional control in Admin to show/remove 'requests and date' in footer.

A 'Back' button would be useful on some pages.

Admin option to 'pre-select' a country in address pop-up menus.

Include a master password option?

Include a reminder for customer to press the update button, after their cart has been modified.

Gift Voucher FAQ nicer formatting.

Finally, something which I am sure would be gratefully appreciated, would be an easy way of getting the dHTML menu to accept wider subcategories/products rather than the current fixed width which makes longer items become partially obscured on two lines. I have never been able to alter the code successfully, so have had to restrict or abbreviate product names to fit on one line.

Advanced Actual Attribute Price. seems to be missing the essential code from the MS2 version so it cant be installed, but I am sure it can.
