| I would like a couple of tweaks; I would like to be able to use xsell to send customer to an entire category, not merely one product. and I would like to let them ask for update notifications to an entire category, not merely one product. Your work on this version of OSC is marvelous!

I have been using it for years and added it to my oscmax cart right off the bat. It is a seperate folder and you just plug a couple of lines of code in your template. You will need space for a second sql database. |

| It's late for Santa, but I want... 1. Hide/display products by customer group 2. Google v2, with instructions. 3. An easier way to add infor boxes ( that contrib yanked the editor ) 4. I use Dreamweaver MX WHAT add on are you referring to for actually editing this BTS templates. From an outsider's standpoint it is a huge drag on development. If STS has the support that BTS doesn't, maybe they's what the right tool for the job is. 5. Documentation. Not mind numbing. But simple how-tos based on what is already in OsCMax. My favorite is when we are referred to the 'read me' file...when we can't even tell you what mod it is. It's all osCMax. |

| Hello, First off let me say that I love OSCMax. I have been using OSC for quite some time and I have modified it in many various ways adding my own modified contribs, and many from the stock contrib section at osc.com. As a long time user of OSC, I find that the biggest failing is how it handles images. My goal in setting up a shopping cart system for a customer is to make everything as easy as possible and have them be able to add or change products easily without needing a developer to assist them. Everything in OSC is pretty easy to administer except the images. Most all of my clients don't know what FTP is and have little time or inclination to learn or teach each new person who comes along. My holy grail change or addition to OSCMax would be an image upload/indexing contribution that would allow 1 image to be uploaded for each product. All additional images would be dynamically generated, then cached, much like the autothumbnail contrib #2226. Another contrib that gets close but falls short is the contrib originally by MaxiDVD #1642 that creates a relatively easy to use upload screen and resizer. It has many other useful features also. A combination of those two contribs would be a welcome addition, but a totally rewritten version that makes image manipulation, uploading and administration so easy and idiot could do it would be my savior. (PS I would actually pay if someone could show me an image addon that meets all of the above criteria) Thanks for listening. |

| It would be great to have an flash mp3 player, like OSPLAYER, already included with the instalation, this would be helpfull for those selling digital music. MP3 FLASH PLAYER : - Limited to a custom duration (30 / 60 seg) - The player actually reads de downloable mp3, but it stops at the custom end time. (so as to not have 2 sets of files, one for the demo, and one for the download, saving hardisk space). Purchase Limiter -This contribution allows you to place a limit on the purchase amount for the selected payment module if the order is for a new customer. The limit is removed for returning customers. The idea is that if the person is going to place an order for fraudulent purposes, he will probably not do it for low dollar amounts. Once the customer has placed an order, it is less likely that his next order would be fraudulent osCommerce: Purchase Limiter V 1.0 Thanks, the oscMAx is great Charly |

| Dear Santa Clause, I would like the following added to oscmax. Multistores with one cart A version that use STS for those who hate BTS Product menu's that display across the bottom of the main header and the ability to change them to whatever you see fit. The removal of the drop down menu for languages and country, switch to flags in the inerface. A better version of article manager, one that can be crawled and link to easier. RSS incorporated into article manager Banner Mannager should be able to change the Header section in the BTS template. SPRY Menus would also be good. The ability to use landing pages. Article manager should display like a magazine and a rss section included in the link the top of BTS. Along with a instant page creater made with the wyswig from article manager. Support Flash and Youtube scripts built in. A working version of the affiliate program, and last but not least flying monkeys to shoot out my ass. Last edited by Anomily; 09-07-2008 at 10:53 AM. |
