[osCmax v2.5x] product attributes

Im currently running oscmax 2.5 beta 3

Im having issues with attributes, i have it set so

Product Options

is a checkbox

and made a bunch of option values

but when you go to the front end, on the product page i only get dropdown menues not check boxes

any idea why check boxes dont appear

I want it so a customer can select more than 1 value for each product option.

Configuration, Products Setting, Product Information, Product Info Attribute Display Plugins: multiple_options (appears to be broken in b3), so try base.

You cannot select more than one option of the same attribute, AFAIK/remember.

thanks this helped somewhat, i found out product attribute pictures was effecting it as well, i dont know what afaik means

but is there anyway to have it so i can setup choosing more than 1 option of same attribute product option?

basically i have a jewelry site, where customers need to be able to build their own, selecting multiple combinations of beads and gemstones.

You may be confusing attributes with values...
You build the attribute list to cope: colour, size, pattern, font etc. then use appropriate option values. Custom text is dealt with separately (for now) - see other threads.

tinboye, I am not sure what you are getting at but I do have an assumption.

Necklace of three alternating bead types: You want customers to pick the three types of beads in the order they want. So I would do Option: Bead One (list of bead types), Bead Three (list of bead types), Bead Two (list of bead types). Then in the description tell them how to customize their necklace with the options you set up.
