Send comments checkbox in order editing

    Default Send comments checkbox in order editing

    Hello guys,

    I don't know if I'm missing something or what, but I don't know what is the Send Comments checkbox at the bottom of the order editor screen intended for. I have written comments with and without this checkbox checked and unchecked and the result seems to be the same. None.

    Can anyone tell me? Thank you!

    If you tick the box then your comments should get emailed to the customer ... if not ... we have a bug!

    It works fine when I test it.

    Note that in order for the comments to be sent when the "send comments" box is ticked, you must also have the "notify customer" box ticked. All it does is send the comments in addition to the status update in the email.

    Thank you very much. It works as Michael said.

    The only thing is when you don't change status but write a commet and you click on notiy and send comments, in the e-mail sent it talks about new status, and the status hasn't changed a lot. It is not serious, but I think it could send a different e-mail body if you don't change status, as thr customer can get confused. Only my opinion.

    Create a new status called "Update" - job done.
    Otherwise, there is an option to email the customer independent of the order itself.
    Hosting plans with installation, configuration, contributions, support and maintenance.
