Default Multiple images with mopics not working :(

I'm doing something wrong here, I'm pretty sure of it. I feel like I followed the instructions and here's what I'm doing.

    I'm naming pictures like so:

    83736.jpg
    83736_1.jpg
    83736_2.jpg
    83736_3.jpg

    My "extra image pattern" is like so: imagebase_{1}

I edit product. Scroll down. Upload 83736.jpg. Go back into edit. Scroll down again. Upload 83736_1.jpg.

It only takes the newest one.

    Something I'm missing?

    Thanks in advance!

Yep! You need to simply upload the _1, _2, _3 files by FTP.

If you do back to the product and reupload the images as 83736_1.jpg the system will look for 83736_1_1.jpg, 83736_1_2.jpg, etc.

If you want to use the admin panel upload you need to do them in reverse order (sort of) - the last image you should upload is the base image file name ... ie. in your example 83736.jpg.

    Hope this make sense.

    Regards,

That one underlined word "1st additional image is called product-520_1.jpg"

That made ALL the difference in the world....works like a charm
FlooringSTEALS.com -- deals so good... they oughta be illegal!

Nothing is so complex and difficult as trying to make something simple and easy...

That's why I underlined it! Along with the note to upload the main image LAST.
Note: this will be obsolete in RC2 (for less than 6 images), due to the extension applied by the venerable PGM.
