    Default Customer can't empty cart

Customer can't empty products in basket/cart after login?
If customer adds more than one product, the last one can be removed, but not the first product added to basket.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Where should I first begin to search?

Please help me, I'm no good in PHP

Version? Any modifications? Have you tested using an unmodified fallback template?

    Hi there,

I have just tested on your store and I was able to remove the products just fine!

Is this one specific customer who is stuck with this? Or everyone?

    Regards,
    pgmarshall

    Hi there!
It happens to different customers, but it is not so easy to know to how many, because only a few tell me I think...

But I have tested a little, and this is what I have found out:
    - one is able to empty cart if you are not logged in
    - if you log in first, put items in cart and then empty, it also works fine
    - if you put items in cart, log in you are not able to empty all items - the first item is unremoveable

This does not make any sense to me.

    Hi there,

I have just tried your store out again ...

if you put items in cart, log in you are not able to empty all items - the first item is unremoveable
I tried this on your store but I can not replicate (using firefox on pc). Created account, logged out, added 3 products, logged in, opened shopping cart, selected tickboxes to remove, Updated, products gone!

Can you be more specific? Browser, Platform and EXACT steps to replicate.

ps. I am really interested to see how you integrated your text attribute module - did you do this yourself? Which module did you include? Are you willing to share this back with the osCmax community?
    Thanks,
    pgmarshall

    Hi,
well this is strange, some times the store behaves like I wrote, and some times it behaves the way you experienced.

In the meantime, I disabled my template shopping_cart.tpl.php and tried out the fallback, but I still can not remove the item.

I am using Windows7, Explorer 8(?) and my exact steps where: Put in cart, push button go to checkout, mus log in, view cart, try to remove item, did not remove.

For your other question: No, I have not installed the contribution my self. I payed a programmer in php to do it. There are some small bugs in the programming work, but it still does the job pretty well. I think that my problem is because of this contribution. I am willing to give the osCMax team a look at the files so that you guys can help me, and others, in the future Mabye this will help you to include the contrib. in a updated version of Max soon?

I will try and replicate on Windows 7 using IE8 to see if it is a browser issue.

I am sure we would all be keen to see the code to get the Text Option type into osCmax.
