ERROR or WARNING Messages

Getting these warning messages at the top of my shop:

My shop has been up and running fine for over 6 months. I've made no changes recently other than add more products.

What is this?

These warning messages are still appearing at the top of my shop.
I'm so sick of running into things like this with OScomm, Osmax!!

I haven't done anything to the shop but add more products.

Please help.

You are running an old, outdated version of osCmax. Your host upgraded from php5.2 or older to php5.3 without telling you.

The latest version of osCmax (2.0.25) and osCommerce (2.3) both take care of php5.3 compatibility issues.

If you don't want to do the full upgrade, there is a simple workaround for this. Try this and let me know if it helps:
Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in C:xampphtdocsdali-designincludesclasseslanguage.php on line 87

Note that even if this corrects the display of the warning message, it is still generating the warning, just ignoring it. You will have to upgrade before php6, as the php function ereg is being completely dropped. Then the workaround for php5.3 will no longer work, and your site will completely break. The only solution is to upgrade to 2.0.25 or the upcoming 2.5
