osCMax Google Checkout Integration Failure

Here is the issue...

One of my stores uses only Google checkout.

During the checkout procedure, if they are in the shopping cart, everything is dandy.

The problem occurs if they click the checkout link or find there way to the shipping (and subsequently the checkout_payment.php) page in another way.

The end user then has no options for purchasing.

I'm wondering what I'm missing and if there is a work around available for this?

Google checkout does not use the osCmax checkout process, so they should never get there. You may need to add some conditional code to disable the standard checkout button if no other payment modules are enabled.

A quick workaround would be to enable another payment module that does use the standard checkout process so at least customers are not stranded while you work out the details of the problem.

Yeah, I kind of figured that was the issue. What I did for the time being is activated Paypal Express checkout.

Next step will be to just remove the original checkout procedure and redirect all checkout_payment.php requests to GC.

When I get that sorted out I'll post the step by step on how to do it.
