One product in two categories

I've started using OscMax for our jewellery website. I was wondering if I could put a single product into two different categories.

For example, 'Silver Bead 01' could fit into both the 'Silver' category and the 'Bead' category. How would I list it twice? Would I have to use separate product model numbers?

Browse to the product you want in 2 (or more places) in your category tree - click the row so it is highlighted and showing its details in the high hand column.

Now click Copy to and then select the category you want to put it in ... now you need to select the copy method - Duplicate or Link.

Duplicate - duplicates! So they are seperate - ie. stock, code, etc.
Link - same product linked in two ways

You want the second one! You can repeat as many times as you like ...

Job done! No seperate product numbers needed ... products have a unique ID not a unique model number ...

Yep - should work ...

Just load a few examples in to your store ... export to excel ... copy and duplicate ... should work fine.
