Easy populate v3.0 part upload only of product attributes

Hi,

Have tried to upload an updated EP file for attributes only, but it doesnt seem to get past about 10 products out of about 500 in my db.

The screen shows the typical update info (lots of text - attributes "updated" etc) but whereas the EP files normally show me a bottom line status - this area just doesnt so I dont know if it has timed out or what....no overall status update or error reporting...I am guessing it is a timer issue and it has fell over???

Examination of my site shows only the 10 or so updated and no more.

I have tried to FTP the file into the admin/temp folder and upload from the server but get the same issue.

Any advice, I have not got the option anymore within EP to split upload/download files.

Oh and for info - the "complete" EP file excluding attributes was uploaded without issue when adding about 100 new products making the 500 or so I mentioned above.

Revert to EP 2.76i - never seen 3! Attributes worked fine with that.
Might have to double the PHP timeout (see php.ini).

How easy is it to revert back - this was a heavily modded site when bought.

Where do I locate php.ini and does it matter this is on a shared server?

Guess you better look (Google) for EP 3 documentation, wherever that came from.

Yes, speak to your hosting provider about increasing the timeout.
