| I'm having a couple of problems with images. 1. The 'no other images available' box is showing for every product. I thought this was automatically removed in the Mopics with 2.0.15. Or have I missed a step? 2. I have been trying to add extra images for a few products, but it's not working. I have named them image.jpg, image_A.jpg, etc. and reconfigured Mopics in Admin accordingly. I uploaded all products with EP and images with FTP but each product shows one image only (and the 'no other images' box). I normally use subdirectories for the images, but I tried loading them in the main image directories as well, as per a mention in another thread. So then I used the Admin panel to upload the extra images. They looked okay but when I checked my website it said the product didn't exist! Do products with extra images have to created through admin? I have about 5000 products to upload, and about 1000 will have extra images. btw, whenever I edit a product with an image in a subdirectory, the Admin panel states that the image doesn't exist, even though it shows normally on my site. Is this normal? A bug? A lack of communication between Admin and Mopics? |

| 1. If you are using a custom template or a template that uses its own content file for product_info.tpl.php you will have to update it manually 2. Adding extra pics is simple. First test with the default settings so you understand how it works. After you create your product with its base image, just upload the extra thumbs to the images/thumbs directory and if your base image is named base.jpg, the extra thumbs should be named base_1.jpg, base2.jpg, etc. Then upload the large images to the images/images_big directory. They will have the same names as the thumbnails (base_1.jpg,etc...). They will automatically show up. See this page as an example: 2.0.15 Test : driwusk [GIFT25] - $25.00 And of course the wiki: http://wiki.oscdox.com/dynamic_mopics

| 1. I am not using a custom template. I think I saw a contribution somewhere with SQL for adding Enhanced Mopics to 2.0.4. Will that work with OSCMax to remove the other images box? 2. If I understand correctly, the extra images will only work if I create the product in the Admin panel, not with Easy Populate? That's going to be a pain for several hundred products! |

| 1. Then something is wrong with your install. v2.0.15 default behavior is to not show the other images box unless there are other images. There should be no need to add any mods. 2. You do not understand correctly. Easypopulate can be used to add the base image to the database, then just upload the thumb and big image when you upload the other images via ftp. Works fine, I added this product and images using EP first, then FTP upload all images: 2.0.15 Test : lofrent [prunt] - $1.29

| Thank you for your time answering, and please bear with me. 1. I was using 2.0.3 and I used an SQL to add Enhanced Mopics. But 2.0.15 was released shortly after so I upgraded to that using the SQL for upgrading from 2.0.4. I can't do a fresh install of 2.0.15 because I don't have all the necessary server/hosting info. Is there something else I can do to get rid of the empty Other Images box? 2. I had been using EP and FTP just as you described but it didn't work. However, I have now tried with a fresh batch of products and it worked perfectly. |

| Yes, you just need to compare the stock product_info.tpl.php included with v2.0.15 with yours and make the necessary changes. You will most likely need to change the includes/modules/dynamic_mopics.php file too. That is just for starters. Since you are using an upgrade file set, you should follow the instructions and replace all the 2.0.4 files with the 2.0.15 files. I suggest doing all this on a test copy of your site first, so you can see what the issues will be and account for them before working on your live site. What server info don't you have that is preventing you from using a clean install? Everything you need should be contained within your configure.php files. That has all the database info, path info, etc.
