Download links not appearing for some completed purchases

I'm the guy behind the scenes at an oscmax powered website that sells various formats of ebooks. I'm still stumbling around this forum trying to figure out where to post it. Lacking that, I'll start here. It's not my website, I just drew the short stick and do the technical stuff as best I can. I'm using osCMax v2.0.2.

This is not an installation problem, but none of the forums offered a better place for me to put it. The problem is that when seemingly random customers make their purchases on rare occasions the download links do not appear for the customers, including when they later check their account history in hopes of finding it.

Any idea what would cause this and how I can fix it?

I would check for the common denominator of the "seemingly random customers".
What browser are they using.
What security settings.
Are cookies enabled.

Good thinking, Neil. I shall try to do so. Thus far, however, only 3 people have had the problem (on different products) out of a considerably higher number. I'll find out roughly how many customers the site has and also look for the linking factor.
