Credit Card payment show this..

Hi,

In the Payment page and the confirmation area this is shown instead of the titled.
It is for the cc payment with extra email for middle numbers.

MODULE_PAYMENT_CC_TEXT_PUBLIC_TITLE

Also looking for a Direct Deposit option that will work in this version.

This has been said so many times.....

IF_YOU_GET_TEXT_LIKE_THIS means that in your language directory that A_FILE_IS_MISSING or is MISSING_SOME_DATABASE_VARIABLES_IN_MYSQL.

As a stock osCMax does not have this issue...I would check what you have added or changed.

MODULE_PAYMENT_CC_TEXT_PUBLIC_TITLE - relates to the TEST credit card module that should NOT BE USED in a production or live server.

IE: /catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/cc.php
Which clearly states: This module stores the credit card number in the database without encryption and is not recommended for production use.

As for a direct deposit - which processor are you signed up with? There is over 700 payment modules available.

Yes I will check the install.

It is the new latest oscmax and as far as I know only the Australian Post one is added, however I will check.

We just chose the CC option which was offered in the base install expecting it to be the same as the one we used in the last oscmax. 2nd email with middle numbers.

Direct Deposit just refers to offering bank details to the customer. Not integrating with a bank as such. Just advising where to make the deposit.

Also chose the PayPal Website as it is like the previous osc IPN version.

Not sure how one would pay via credit card or debit online though "Australian Post"

As was stated CC is for testing and should not be use in production. It is NOT secure enough for most credit card companies and may be against your merchant agreement. (if your small - they may have not found out--yet! They are cracking down due to fraud. Recently - actually about 18 months ago-a friend of mine got frauded - the CC looked at his "card not present" business ie:his online business - yanked all funds that was frauded out of his actual bank account for the charge back - then locked his merchant account, requiring a Major deposit fee in the lower 5 figures - just to continue - and may release any funds collected after 6 month or a year depending on future transactions.)

Direct Deposit - do you mean like a Money Transfer like Western Union, EFT (Wire transfer), Pre-authorized Debit, Interac/Cirrus/Maestro/AccuLink/+Plus, Bank Bill Payment Services (like for large utilities and paying off Credit Card online though your bank).

Direct Deposit - if your thinking like EFT-Electronic Funds Transfer (also called Wire Transfers) that exposes your full BANK information, such that tye can figure out your banks IBAN or such number, so that people could actually deposit funds (as well as withdraw money too...!) Nigeria would love you for that! Better dig up that email from the relative of the dead rich guy about the 25 million he wants to "share" to move the money out of the country....

Or are you talking about having gone though the setup for Direct Pay or Bill Payment though each type of banks around and all the costs of doing so for each bank/chain/group/co-op/credit unions. Done that 2 month ago - takes 3 to 8 weeks for each bank to "accept" you - cost several hundred and we only cover about 3 or 4 of the top 6 banks chains (out of 100+ in the country)



Boils down to - our payment method process did not change - though some payment processors have died (now dropped) or the modules have been improved. The old modules you have should work.

The CC was in a way, just to say they wanted to pay by CC, not direct connected to any bank.

The Aust Post was nothing to do with the Payment inquiry, rather the shipping page. I guess I should have been clearer.

The Aust Post is working now as well, although I have to check that it is up to date with the Aust Post charges, as they go north every few months it seems.

After a few troubles the whole new 2.03 shop is now up and running securely.

Anyway, always appreciate your help.

Great - just don't let the fraudster get a hold of it and look up the IBAN number for your bank and drain your account for you.

All I would need to drain you account from anywhere in the world is the account number - your name(anything associated to the account) and the physical address of the bank or there IBAN number. (may have to be transfer from your to a local international bank first - or though several...)

Risk business - I personally do this offline or in a very limited personal bases.

Yea, that's what they said about a programmer working in the bank a decade or two back - he collection all the rounded down interest that should have been paid out (less than $0.005 - or less than half penny on amount calculated and only if rounded down - averaging less than $.00125 per transaction) - not much - no worth anyone's trouble. But amassed I think HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars worth in just a few months..... Apparently this was found out by chance...

Not like the NZ couple just a short while back that grabbed the "extra" money put in there account and ran. I think he got jail not the money.

Yes I had an associate in America who one day found 1 1/2 million dollars in this bank over what he thought he had.

They withdrew it and spent it.

It took Bank of America 4 years, but they got him and his 2 friends. My associate got 4 years in Chino Jail California (the motel where the pollies and big dudes go)

Not worth the trouble..
