Default items not staying in cart after logging off and logging in

if i add items into the cart and lets say i log off, usually the items are still saved for the next time you login. However im not sure exactly what happened but it stopped doing it and i cant seem to figure out where the problem was to cause this

that would typically point to your session expiring, or a session key not being set by PHP..

Dump IE and upgrade to Firefox 3.5.....

Most likely it is a browser security setting change.

lol JPF, i agree with you, though it might not solve the isue, but its a good start.

For real though, having someone change the software they use to work online isnt really a solution. figuring out the source of the problem and fixing it is a better alternative for most people.

What you want to do MrE03 is to do as JPF says, for testing purposes. Once you have IE and firefox installed. use a session test application to test session storage on your server. You can download a session test from our website, here, in the downloads section, Hyperactive Inc. - Powered By Kayako SupportSuite

Once installed, run the test in both IE and firefox. If the problem exists in both browsers, your host will ned to troubleshoot session problems on the server. If the problem only exists in one browser, IE or Firefox, then you can start looking at the security settings in IE, relax the permissions and retest after each change to see if your last change corrected the issue.

    Sincerely,
