Another background color question

I know this question is asked over and over. I have read some other post but I can't seem to get the change to take affect when I enter it in. I am super slow at this stuff, so thanks for the help!!!

Here is what it is set at in stylesheets

BODY {
/*background: #ffff66;*/
color: #000000;
margin: 0px;
background-image : url(../../images/OSCMAX_bg.gif);
}

I changed the background to the #ffff66 in dreamweaver and hit save, however when I go to check it out it is still showing as white. What am I doing wrong? THanks!

You have to uncomment it or it will not take effect, and stop loading hte bg image.

Remove the comment tags (the /* and */) those disable the setting.
