country not inserted into database on affiliate sign up

003: Cannot set up new affiliate account - Bug Tracker - open source Commerce Maximized :: osCMax

I tried this posted fix for the issue, it states that it is for v2.0, which is what i am using, however it did not fix the issue, country is not inserted into the database and it causes an error in the admin system, also the new affiliate can not log in until i manually fix their account in the database

Is there a newer fix for this? I tried the post made by another user that suggested to edit includes/modules/affiliate_account_details.php and that caused an error on the sign up page

I would love my affiliate program to be as smoothly automated as the rest of my shopping cart... any suggestions?

That was a fix back in 2005 and has been included in RC2 and newer. Which version of osCMax do you have ? RC1/2/3 or SVN (RC4 beta version).

I would suggest you install SVN if you have a new store.

my store was installed over a year ago, i only recently found out the affiliate system was not working properly

I've looked in the admin section and in the file headers for most of the major systems and have found nothing indicating in RC value, just OscMax v2.0

I guess I will try downloading the latest package and re-installing my store... what a PITA since the only problem with the store is the affiliate system

There is an updated Affiliate module in SVN. As well I would check MySQLDiff to verify your data base - there is a few updates - but does not affect exisiting data.
