    Exclamation Mulitple Value Price Issue

    I have a client that sells big and tall men's clothing. They have an upcharge for these attributes and that's no problem. However, they only want to apply the upcharge once if the customer chooses a "big" attribute and a "tall" attribute for the same product. As it stands, both upcharges are applied if more than one is selected.

    Is anyone aware of a work-around that will allow my client to indicate that the upcharge only be applied once?

    Do you mean for a say...size 52 you have 4 options? Regular Size, Big Size, Tall Size and a both Big&Tall?

    My background is in apparel - please explain changes. I think oscmax can handel this already (multiple drop down attrib).

    JPF - more or less. Like most retailers, they think of their product as a Style and the attribute combinations as a SKU. OscMax doesn't really support that, but QTPro makes it easy to at least set stock levels by attribute combinations.

    So, yes, they have a pair of pants (the product) with a color, size and inseam (all attributes). The size is 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46 and 48. The inseam is 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35. The sizes 44, 46 and 48 are considered "big" and have an upcharge of $10. The inseams 33, 34 and 35 are considered "tall" and also have an upcharge of $10.

    If a customer chooses this pair of pants with a 38 waist and a 34 inseam, for example, they are charged the extra $10. Same goes if they choose a "big" size, but regular inseam. Of course if they choose a size that is "big" and and inseam that is "tall" they are charged an additional *$20*. My client wants them to only be charged the upcharge once.

    Make more sense?

    IF STATEMENT:

    if (Size > 43) then Surcharge=10
    else if (Inseam > 32) then Surcharge=10

    Correct?

    I will play with this later today to see if I can make it work with multiple dropdown.
