seo add to cart 404 not found

ive tried this with 2 installs and 2 servers rewrite is good everything works except adding a product to the cart.
any ideas?

The requested URL /my-product-thisproduct-p-1.html/action/add_product was not found on this server.

You will need to be more specific. Where did you get that URL from? What SEO are you talking about?

If it is Ultimate SEO URL, I do not know what version you might be using, but the one I have surely doesn't do URLs like that...

its a stock install of the latest oscmax with the built in seo.

Then your install is not correct. That url example you gave is not correct and is not how seo urls rewrites them. It looks like there is a problem elsewhere in your install.

Completely disable seo urls, and comment out the rewrite rules in .htaccess. Then see if your site works correctly.

And where did you get that URL from? Your store gives it to you as a link somewhere? Or you are just adding by hand that "/action/add_product" at the end of a product URL, and hoped it would work because you have seen it somewhere else?

Ultimate SEO URL which is the one that comes with OSCMAX never creates URLs like that.

the urls dont look like that thats where im sent when i click add to cart.

You will need someone else's help on that if you say that is a stock install of the latest OSCMAX. I am running RC3, and I have never seen URLs like the following on OSCMAX, or with Ultimate SEO URL, so I might be missing something here (new SEO methods on RC4, whatever...)

But I would say that you might have something wrong with your host, or however you have uploaded your store. Maybe some text conversions happened... I would not know where to start looking, but looking at your store, you have no left column (if it is supposed to be there) and all your store is basically on 8 lines when looking at the source code.

If that is a stock installation, I see some very strange things with it...

So... since the URL http://oscmax.dowjam.com/product_reviews.php/products_id/11 actually seems to work, there must be something I am missing on the kind of SEO you are using. Can't help, sorry!
