| I hope someone can help with a strange problem happening on one of my shopping carts. This has happened almost a dozen times now. The customer information is not the same as the shipping and billing address. When we contact the customer about the order, the customer claims they never signed up on the site and did not order any product. When I look for the customer in the Customer list ... the customer does not exist. The Shipping & Billing Address is the actual customer but we cannot communicate with this customer through the order since the Customer Name, telephone and email address is wrong. Below is an instance of what displays in the order: Customer: John Doe 123 Elm Street San Antonio, California 12345 United States Email Address: john.doe@abc.com Telephone Phone: 123-456-1234 Shipping Address: Jane Taylor 786 John Avenue Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29575 United States Billing Address: Jane Taylor 786 John Avenue Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29575 United States Thanks, Michelle |

| This sounds like someone log on as an admin and changed this information on a order they made. Adam |

| I don't believe this is the case. There are only 3 administrators, my client, myself and my programmer. Neither of us would change the order as it causes chaos. There are 467 orders on this site and only about a dozen have the problem. |

| If customer name/address is different to billing name/address and the payment method is a Credit Card i would be wary of fraud unless the Customer is a well known regular customer. I havent had this problem yet, but for me personaly if a customer orders/pays by credit card i only deliver to the Card holders address. |

| Sound like "Purchase without account" is in operation and some one is ordering using other people data and getting it shipped to them..... They are trying to scam you and the person who owns the credit card.... Turn off "Purchase without account". Force everyone to sign up with an account. Unless they are a well known purchaser - any time they have a ship to other than there bill to - follow up with a phone call.

| Maybe there is a fraud going on..somebody outside your business is manipulating the information of a certain customer. The customer who order's 1st must have an account with you. It would be best to call the person who ordered the items before having it shipped. |
