Default Best way to upload to Google Base?

I am close to launching my website but definitely want to use Google Base for marketing. Currently I have an eBay store and I use the Google Base Store connector to upload my store to Google Base. My question:
What is the best way for me to do it from an OS Commerce Based Store? I see that Google Base Store Connector in addition to eBay also has an option to upload from OS Commerce so am I correct that it would work from this? I see options from within the program also for uploading to Google Base. I know some of these may be more automated than using Google Base Store Connector. I also see how you can even download to a spreadsheet to then upload to Google Base. What I'm asking for is what is the most efficient way that does a good job to upload to Google Base?

Default Re: Best way to upload to Google Base?

Hi there, unfortunately I can't use G's store connector as they don't support UK sites yet. So I did a search for other contribs for standard osc. I found one that looked ok and made the necessary modifications (can't find the link now, ill post later). It added an extra box to admin with support for googlebase us, uk & germany.

The contrib outputs a text file, the problem I've got is the order of the columns that it outputs, so I'll have to modify the code that generates the output into the correct format (still on my todo list). The contrib also contains an upload feature but I haven't got this to work. As a work around, Google now supports urls to base feeds (rather than having to upload to google). So once I've got it working properly ill just tell google when to go for the feed each month.

Hope thats given you some food for thought anyway, l8rs, J.
