Dynamic_mo_pics not working...

I followed the documentation to setup dynamic_mo_pics but perhaps I'm mis-understanding something as I'm not getting my extra images. Can anyone checkout my setting below and offer help? I can verify with ftp that the image files are uploaded OK. The main thumbnail works fine, add'l pics don't show.

My settings:

Big Image Types: jpg
Thumbnail Image Types: jpg
Big Images Drictory: images_big/
Thumbnail Images Dir: images_thumbs/
Main Thumbnail in "TID": true
Extra Image pattern: imagebase_{1}

MY BIG IMAGE:
images_big/SKT33350.jpg

MY MAIN AND ADDITIONAL THUMBNAILS:
images_thumb/SKT33350.jpg
images_thumb/SKT33350_1.jpg

The problem is that you have the thumbs dir set to :

Thumbnail Images Dir: images_thumbs/


But you put the thumbs in:

images_thumb/


You are telling osCMax to look for the thumbs in the wrong directory.

I humbly apologize for not proofing my post very well. That was a typo.

Both are set to: images_thumb

But there are no pics.

OK... got the thumbnails and big pic working...

Problem? the "Main Thumbnail in "Thumbnail Images Directory" setting...

I had interpreted "Main thumbnail" as being the "main" (uploaded) pic. I was FTP'ing my main product pics to the "thumbnail" folder. To work I have to leave my main uploaed pics at the "image" level and not put in sub-folder.

So.. as to the "mo_pics" directions.. what is a "Main Thumbnail? What does this setting mean? I had to turn if off to get mo_pics to work.

Main Thumbnail is the thumbnail for the Main picture (the original single picture listed at the top of the product) It has nothing to do with the extra pics listed at the bottom of the page.

All I know is... I uploaded my main pics to the Thumbnail directory and it didn't work, even though the -Main Thumbnail in "Thumbnail_Images_Directory"- was set to true. To get it to work I had to put leave my main thumbnails at the "image" level and not in the subdirectory.

Michael.. Thank you for responding. I really appreciate it. I would like to store my main thumbs in a sub-folder but as I say, it simply doesn't work. I'll continue to play with it.

I'm still testing this and my Mo_Pics option "Main Thumbnail in Thumbnail Images Directory" is simply not working. I put the same set of pics at main "images" level and I also put a duplicate set in "thumbs" folder. Thumbnail Images Directory is set to "thumbs/". When I set "Main Thumbnail in Thumbnail Images Dir" ON and remove the image AT THE MAIN LEVEL (there is still one in the thumbs/ directory) I get no pic. If I put the image back into the MAIN images dir I get the pic. Obviously, even with the option turned on to look in thumbs folder it's still looking in "images" and not "images/thumbs/"

Ideas?
