 Gift voucher problems
I have a working installation of osCMax 2.0 RC3 but there are several problems with gift vouchers. After a gift voucher is purchased from the store its value does not appear in the (site's) shopping cart area or (admin's) Gift Voucher Queue. It doesn't matter whether 'Queue Purchases' is set to true or false in admin->modules->order total->Gift Vouchers - nothing ever appears in the Gift Voucher Queue in admin.
My gift voucher has the model name GIFT100 and admin->configuration->download->Enable Download is set to true.
The gift voucher sale transaction completes OK and appears as an order in admin->customers->orders. I can then send the customer a gift voucher using vouchers/coupons->Mail Gift Voucher in admin - but I have to do this manually every time. Once the voucher is redeemed it appears in the shopping cart area. So why isn't the system registering gift voucher sales automatically, or at least queueing them? Does anyone have any clue as to what might be causing this please?
Moreover if the customer goes to the checkout with goods in their basket AND a gift voucher balance in their account, and they check the 'Tick to use gift voucher account balance->' box - although the value of the voucher is correctly deducted from the price of the goods at the checkout and the transaction completes, upon returning to the site the voucher balance shown in the shopping cart area does not update. In other words, the voucher can be used again and again without limit against future purchases. On the other hand if part/all of the voucher's value is sent to someone else, then the voucher balance in the shopping cart area is correctly updated.
And while I'm on the subject, can someone please explain why the 'Date sent' field in admin->vouchers/coupons->Gift Vouchers Sent is stuck on 01/01/1970? Thanks.  |
