I can't seem to get batch print to work, my client doesn't need it and I just want to comment it out before I hand over the site.
I'm in the admin > index.php, but something doesn't look right about commenting out that line. Any tips?

Just remove access on his user on the admin section.
Admin -> Administrator -> File Access -> Tools -> batch_print.php -> remove
It might be something different than "File Access" since I have it in spanish, but the link is yourstore.com/admin/admin_files.php
For what it's worth, Batch Print can be a great contribution once you have it working and you can customize different invoices and packing slips with it too. However, it took me a little time to get it going also. Let me know if you would like any help getting it going.

I agree. I use it daily for doing my invoices, labels, package lists for the shipment, ... it is great for many things once you have it configured right and once you have done your personalized templates.
