About LinkBacksyeah that fixed it... it gave me a warning about an SQL syntax error when i uploaded the edited file but it worked fine. is that something i should investigate or just leave it?

Re: customer groups function depends on the error, I generally get an error on the last record, I forget what it is, but I have always ignored it.
