| Prior to the new Wiki format for the how-to documentation for OsCMax (v.2) there was online info regarding the admin panel which listed brief descriptions of the settings and their intended applications. The Wiki is still incomplete as far as configuring the store. Without some of this documentation I find it difficult to interpret how to proceed in some areas. As a newcomer, some are not that intuitive. Currently, I'm trying to decipher how to apply Product Attributes and I can't seem to find any guidelines for this topic. Since there are quite a bit more areas I haven't even addressed yet, I can imagine I will run into this situation for other topics as well. Is there an estimated time frame for when this info will become available? Is there a link to some of this info that is available elsewhere? |

| The admin is all documented here at osCMax: osCMax - osCommerce Maximized Every single feature is documented.

| Well, when I click some of the links there is nothing displayed. For instance, 03-Catalog, 05-Customers, 06-Locations (there's more). If all features are supposed to be documented, I guess I expected to see something in these areas. |

| When I click 03-catalog, I see: Quote:
You could always just look at the standard osCommerce docs for about 70% of the features, especially all the core features as they are identical to osCommerce. I will see if I can get some of the other stuff back in the wiki, but it is slow going with all the other stuff I have going on right now.

| Thank you. I should have been more clear. That is also what I see when I click the 03-Catalog, but nothing from there on. I wasn't aware of the compatible features between osC and osCMax. Mostly, it appeared as though the documentation that is there is the same description as that listed by the options within Admin itself. Yes, some of it is straightforward, but some is not...at least for beginners like me. I'll keep plugging along though. Thank you for your time. I know you must be awful busy with a venture such as this. |

| I am updating the wiki daily now, adding a few more pages each day, so eventually it will be back to its full size. I just added a bunch of pages to the admin guide section there, so keep checking back, and you will get more and more info. You are welcome to contribute to the Wiki Docs at any time (open to all to contribute, like any try Wiki). As the wiki docs mature, they get added to the official docs on this site. The docs are laid out in the exact structure of the admin panel (at least here at osCMax.com) to make it easier to locate features. So, if you are trying to figure out Admin >> Configuration > Extra Order Emails, that is exactly where you look in the docs on this site.
