admin infobox help

how do i install mods like :osCommerce Community Add-Ons

where u need to :
Step 4: Open the chosen column

catalog/includes/column_left.php or column_right.php

and insert the following in the location you would like the ads to appear:


if (PAYPALLOGO_SHOW == 'true')
{ if ($request_type == NONSSL)
{ /* only show paypallogo in NON SSL else it causes warning */
include(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'paypal_logo.php');
}

}

being the coulmn support is now on the admin side i dont know how to make mods like this work
and their is a few i want to add to my site like this

i would like to add michel_s said Put it in main_page.tpl.php in the left column area.
well i dont know if i was useing the right main_page.tpl.php file because all i got was text iin the tool box. i used the one that was in my templates folder i am using. the other thing i noticed with the admin infobox is not woking it still shows ones that are off.

You have to properly code it...cant just paste it in. Add the <?php ?> tags:

Just to test something i set all to Off and went to my page and they are still all on i don't know why they are doing this is some one can help please. i am sorry i new to all this i am getting better tho.

ok I know what it messing up my infobox's it is the template i got from the template store. If i change it back to the stock template it works just fine. I can turn drifrent boxes on or off as i like in the admin. I their is a setting on the template i dont know about so if u can help please let me know.

Use the 'request support' fields and button on that page. Fill in your order info. They should get you fixed up quick.
