Gift Voucher in Order Total only after refresh

Hi there
am working on a store that uses an oscMax 2.0 installation.

There is an error in the CCGV module as follows:

Customer can redeem a gift voucher but, when used during checkout_payment, the voucher amount is not displayed in teh checkout_confirmation page.

UNLESS

checkout_confirmation is refreshed - in that case the order totals are correct, voucher balance is displayed and it is deducted.

I have found mention on the osCommerce forums of this problem but the solutions there do not work (the suggestion there is that register_globals being off is the cause - globals are on in our case)

Has anybody any suggestions?

In case anybody comes across this.....
Installed oscmax v2 RC3 01 which cured this little problem.

left me with PayPal IPn problems with regard to CCGV totals - but that's another story
