Ok 2 questions in one day..... I have searched but not found the answer yet to this one. In article manager if I create an article it shows up in admin but not on the site. If I create a topic is shows in admin and on the site. SO Embarass me and tell me what I am missing. Thanks.

From what I can remember, I also had some problems first time I created articles. 2 things come to my mind... First, I think you had to put articles on a sub-category. Otherwise they would show up nowhere if they were on the main/root category. Second, you had to put an author on the article. If it didn't have an author, I think something strange happened (either it didn't show up, or it did but when you entered the article you saw it blank).

Yeah, that's it. Articles on TOP seem to show up nowhere. I do not know if it is by dessign, or by flaw. Articles with no author come out empty. This might actually be a bug, when I did configure this part I didn't think about reporting it since I am the author on all my articles.

| Both are by design (I didn't make the articles manager, so take it up with the coders of the mod). You must have articles in a category and all articles must have an author.

I would say that the second one is a bug. With no author, you actually see the article listed, and you can go inside. But there is no information on it, see following example. ![]() Anyway, I guess any admin will notice it when previewing the article they have posted themselves, I didn't bother fixing it...
