How to Disable New Product At Index page after a year?

I'm Using OSCMAX v2.0 RC3.

I have the problem that the product on year 2006 will showing again after a year now.

Example:
Product A add in on year August 2006 & showing as new product on index page. but now August 2007. The product A will showing index page again since the product not the new product.

Anyone can please help to resolve this problem.
