advice/suggestion needed on Shipping module

is there any contribute/addon where you can set 3 different shipping prices for each product ? or maybe calculate those shipping price by weight ? or something else ?

for example :

Product A :

• ship in 2 days : $5
• ship in 3 days : $2
• ship in 7 days : $1

Product B :

• ship in 2 days : $10
• ship in 3 days : $7
• ship in 7 days : $3

then when people add both products into cart, there are 3 different shipping options to choose from :

• ship in 2 days : $15 (Product A in 2 days + product B in 2 days)
• ship in 3 days : $9 (Product A in 3 days + product B in 3 days)
• ship in 7 days : $4 (Product A in 7 days + product B in 7 days)

what shipper do you want to use?

There is already fedex, UPS (XML) is a good one

There is also a USPS one that is real good.

All three do ship by weight and get the shipping information from the proper vendors web site.

met00, is the USPS calculate the shipping cost by weight from USPS website ? so basically we need to put the 'real weight' on our products and let USPS to figure it out the shipping cost ?

you can look on the OSC forums for all the details... this is the most active version of the USPS module I believe.

The UPS XML module with the full dimensional support and packaging routine is a great module and it's well worth the time to get it fully working. You can pick the transit methods you want to offer and get accurate rates based on your box size and weight.
