Default 3 questions: images, category etc...

Hi,
I have 3 questions:

1. it is possible to save (upload) products images to sub-directory (eg. images/small/). OsC and osCMax save images only in 'images' directory.

2. it is possible to show menu maufacturers like: category by manufacturers - like in this side: Page 1 of Furniture, at FurnitureFind (by brand).

3. it is possible to always display in main menu all subcategories.

Sorry for my english and thank you for your any help

Default Re: 3 questions: images, category etc...

answers:

1) don't upload the images through OSC. FTP the images up to the directory you want them in on your server, then use ezpopulate and just list the path to the files.

2) what you are looking for is an infobox contribution that I haven't seen, but then again I haven't gone through the 311 contributions on the OSC site looking for what you're looking for.

There is the shop by price contribution...
osCommerce: Shop by price infobox

This may be modifiable to meet you need on manufacturers (although there is a current manufacturer pull down that could be modified to display product counts easy enough)

3) Depends on what you want to do and which menu system you are using. For instance, here is a complex menu system that some rave about
"Dynamenu" for osCommerce - osCommerce Community Support Forums

I personally think that it's overkill, but that is just my opinion.
