Question osC look and feel...help to get it right?

Hi, I had to take a short pause from getting my site up. When I started to work on it again I found this site Wholesale Distributor, Buy Wholesale, Products, Buying Wholesale that has things setup real close to what I am trying to do. I would like help getting pointed in the right direction with getting things setup. Would I be better off starting over from scratch? The full version of oscommerce milestone 2.2 does not work at all which makes osCMax the best solution if I can get past the few hurdles that I face.

Still struggling with learning PHP and this is why I ask for some help.

My site is osCMax v2.0 : DWM Computers On-Line Store and still under construction for the above reasons.

Thank you in advance for any help I can get with this.

    Hi dragonkeeper1973,

I'm still pretty new myself but, maybe I can be of some assistance. I am working with a site that was setup by another person. There are some things that work fine and others that don't. What I've found out so far is that some of things that don't work combined with a few features I'd like to add come standard with the osCMax package. So I'm definitely starting over and simply entering in the new products.

I've taken a look at the code of some of the modules and I have to say the code is cleaner and easier to read......they've also gone to the trouble of adding great notation especially where mod or hacks have been added. It makes it alot easier to follow what's going on....I just found this place today and I feel alot better and more hopeful about the success of my project.

I hope that helps a little. Is there anything else you want to know?

P.S. does anyone know why the term "Lurker" is under my name?...I guess cause I haven't posted enough yet (1st day and all). It makes me feel kind of dirty (LOL).....
