ups shipping- checkout wrong weight

When you checkout on my site, the weight is not showing up right for the shipping method. i have went and checked all the weights again in the catalog and it looks like it is doubling what i have the weight set to.

any ideas?

Mine too! It seems like it always adds an extra pound to each order. I still haven't figured a way to get through this. But then again, UPS is more expensive than using USPS or Canada Post. The lowest price I've ever seen on my site is $5 something even for products that weight 1/4 of a pound.

Also, if you have Insurance checked for UPS then it's also going to add to the shipping cost depending on how expensive your product is.

UPS min weight is 1 LB as defined by the module and I think UPS min calculates as min PACKAGE as 1 LB anyways.

What you may have to check is what UNITS you are using with UPS (as you mentioned Canada Post) I do not know how it works in the UPS side but UPS Canada defaults to KG (1 KG = 2.2 Lbs) with the min billable as 1kg.
