| I am new to osC & Max but prefer to design for the visually impaired who use screen readers. These special screen readers do not do well at all when viewing websites using tables. Are there any templates which use pure CSS (divs, etc.) instead of tables in the layout? Thanks in advance, Simplex |

| Well after looking in the template folder and examining the CSS-fluid-1 template I see that it is a very nice modification but not quite what I am looking for. <Tables> should be limited in the main content section of the page and the design needs to be able to be coded in an order of importance and not necessarily in the page viewing order. IE. A text header with name of website would be first followed by the main content of the page, then the left column , then the right and finally the header and footer sections. You can see about the 'source ordering' in this example at Skidoo Too : Ruthsarian Layouts I'm not sure about osCMax and whether all content drawn from the database must be displayed in a <table> but it sure would make the visually impaired and SE's very happy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance |
